Community Service Hours Volunteer Opportunities
 
We provide the opportunity for Creative Community Service Hours to be completed at our facility. Please review the following to be considered for a volunteer shift. 
  • You must pre book all hours with the Volunteer Coordinator.
  • All messages must be left on the Volunteer Coordinators voice mail or in person.
  • If you are late or no show for a booked shift you are not allowed back
  • When leaving a message, the Volunteer Coordinator will get back to you within 48 hours.
Shift times are 9:00am – 2:00pm. Other arrangements can be made for different hours after your first shift, depending on our needs and available schedules.
 
You will need to bring the following with you while volunteering at the Surrey Food Bank:
  1. Photo ID.
  2. Closed toe shoes.
  3. Probation Office's business card with their fax number on it.
  4. A positive attitude and strong work ethic (we do expect you to work!)
We have a zero tolerance for rude behavior!!
