Vancity Community Foundation 20th Anniversary Video - Donor Stories

Vancity Community Foundation 20th Anniversary Video - Donor Stories

http://VancityCommunityFoundation.ca Vancity Community Foundation makes it easy for you to help your community, whether your contribution is large or small. The VCF Donor Stories video shares the stories of the Nancy Grant Fund, which was started by a individual donor focused on literacy, and the Surrey Homelessness and Housing Fund, which represents a major endowment founded through a municipality. Each story shows the impact that a donor can have on their community. If you're inspired by how meaningful a donor-advised fund can be or would like to make a contribution, give us a call at 604.877.7647. We'll help you set up a donor-advised fund or arrange strategic charitable giving. We take a collaborative approach to philanthropy as we believe that together, more becomes possible.

Vancity Community Foundation 20th Anniversary Video - Community Stories

Vancity Community Foundation 20th Anniversary Video - Community Stories

http://VancityCommunityFoundation.ca At Vancity Community Foundation, we take very seriously our role as a catalyst for positive change in communities. We have worked with hundreds of community organizations to effect such change, as we believe that together, more becomes possible. The VCF Community Stories video shows the compounding effect of even a small initial grant. Two of the organizations we support, Farm Folk/City Folk and United We Can, are featured in this video. Farm Folk/City Folk (with Vancouver Farmers' Markets) supports local food systems. United We Can is an inspiring social enterprise that supports recycling and job creation in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside. If you would like to learn more about how to support these organizations or work with us for your community, call us at 604.877.7647.
