The Granville Island Turkey Trot is annually organized over Thanksgiving in the spirit of community and giving back. Last year, runners helped raise $5,000 and nearly 500 pounds of food for the Greater Vancouver Food Bank. This year, we’re teaming up with even more Food Banks from across the Lower Mainland with the goal to increase overall donations.
The Granville Island Turkey Trot 10KM is a hallmark event for Granville Island and the Vancouver running community. The annual event brings runners together in a celebration of Thanksgiving, demonstrating our community of running, our gratitude for the sport, and our commitment to supporting others.
Runners may enjoy a Virtual Race and run from anywhere, anytime from October 1 to 15, 2020.
