Third Party Events

As we, the Surrey Food Bank, do not receive any core government funding, we rely on the community for third party events. Third Party Events are fundraising events that community groups e.g. school groups, faith-based groups, clubs, corporations or unions, organize to help raise food and/or funds.

Not sure what kind of third party event to hold with your group? Consider one of the following where guests can contribute food or money:

  • Bowl-a-thon, Walk-a-thon, etc.
  • B-B-Q
  • Bake sale
  • Car wash
  • Charity silent auction
  • Clothing swap
  • Concert
  • Dinner or potluck party
  • Game night
  • Garage sale
  • Lemonade stands
  • Parties – birthday, Christmas, baby shower, etc.

Please fill out the online Third Party Registration Form, let us know how many boxes you need, and we will support you and your event as much as possible to help it be a success.

We are able to arrange drop off and pick up at commercial addresses as our resources permit.  We are not able to drop off or pick up at residential addresses. When you contact us, we are always able to arrange to have your boxes and supplies available for pick up at our main location on City Parkway and are happy to receive drop offs before 3pm, Monday to Friday.
