Holiday Fundraising

We know that 2020 has been a difficult year for many people in our community, and the support that we have received thus far has been incredible. We would not have been able to get through the last seven months without your donations, and now – we are asking for your help during the holidays.

This year, we are asking businesses, community organizations, individuals and schools to Help Fill Hearts this Holiday, by registering a food drive in support of the thousands of people we serve each month.

This giving season, we are introducing two new fundraising opportunities. Our first, is a Reverse Advent Calendar, which runs from November 16th until December 11th. Information for the advent calendar can be found here, or in our event packages.

Our second opportunity, is our Help Fill Hearts Campaign. This campaign is great for those donors who have store fronts, or larger businesses with people coming in and out. Information on that campaign, can be found here, or in the “Everyone Else” package.

And of course, if you just would like to order boxes for your school, organization or business, that’s great too! We are grateful for the support.

Signing up to fundraise is pretty straightforward. All you need to do, is download one of the two packages from below, fill out the registration form, mark off if you just want boxes, or if want an advent calendar or if you want to participate in the Help Fill Hearts campaign. Fill it out, and email the form to events@surreyfoodbank.org.

Please note, like in previous years, we have specific days that we drop off boxes, and pick up food. If you need your food picked up after the week of December 14th – 18th, we will do our best to accommodate you before Christmas Eve, but we cannot guarantee it.

We are also asking you to have all your filled boxes by your entry doors, so our volunteer drivers do not need to travel too far into your location. This keeps both you and our volunteers safe and healthy. All our drivers will have masks, gloves, and hand sanitizer, and will not come into your school or establishment if they are ill.

Thank you for supporting those in your community, and for making an impact!
